About
I’ve been in television since 1985, working as a camera operator for a local CBS affiliate, production manager for a small production company, director of a school video studio, and as a producer and host for a PBS affiliate. In 2007 I left Blue Ridge PBS to return to teaching and open Lucky Dog as a way to produce a documentary called A Gift for the Village. Working on only a few projects a year gives me the chance to do the kind of work that I’ve always wanted to do.
In my day job I am a teacher for Virtual Virginia, an online school run by the Virginia Department of Education, where I teach AP Human Geography to mostly rural students in the Commonwealth.
